Recipe for Low Carb Fettuccine Sausage Mushroom Alfredo

Serves 4

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes


  • 8 ounces of Low Carb Pasta - Fettuccine (1 package)
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 16 ounces of sliced button mushrooms or portobello mushrooms
  • ¾ cup of heavy cream
  • 4 ounces of parmesan cheese
  • 6 ounces of sausage, cut into slices or chopped
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley, tomato slices, diced green onion


  1. Cook the Low Carb Pasta - Fettuccine according to package directions, or bring water to a boil, add the pasta, and cook for about 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. Heat the butter in a skillet and add the mushrooms. Cook for 4 minutes or until mushrooms start to soften.
  3. Add the cream and cook for another 3 minutes.
  4. Lower the heat and gradually add the Parmesan cheese. Continue to stir as the cheese melts and blends into the sauce.
  5. Add the salt, pepper, and sausage, and stir thoroughly.
  6. Add the fettuccine, stir well, and plate.
  7. Garnish as desired. Serve and enjoy!
