Recipe for Keto Salmon Pesto Pasta

  • 1 package of ThinSlim Foods Impastable Low Carb Pasta - Fettuccine
  • 1 pound of salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup of whole-wheat flour for dredging
  • ⅓ cup of chicken broth
  • ½ cup of pesto
  • 2 tablespoons of milk or fat-free half-and-half
  • Squeeze of lemon juice
  • Optional topping: 2 ounces (½ cup) of grated parmesan cheese


  1. Cook the ThinSlim Foods Impastable Low Carb Pasta - Fettuccine according to the directions on the package. Boil water, add the pasta, and cook it for about 6 to 8 minutes or until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. Mix the garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and salt and pepper in a small bowl. 
  3. Rub the spice mixture on the salmon.
  4. Place the flour in a bowl. Put the salmon in it to coat both sides.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Add the salmon and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until it flakes. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside.
  6. Add the chicken broth, pesto, milk or half-and-half, and lemon juice. Heat and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Add the salmon, lower the heat, and cook for another five minutes. Break the salmon into pieces with your stirring spoon.
  8. Mix the fettuccine with the sauce.
  9. Plate and top with parmesan cheese, if using.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
