  • 1 head (about 1lb.) of broccoli, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, peeled and thinly sliced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup of parmesan cheese plus ¼ cup more
  • Optional toppings: toasted pine nuts or walnuts, cherry or grape tomatoes in halves


  1. Cook the ThinSlim Foods Impastable Low-Carb Pasta - Shells according to the directions on the package. Boil water, add the pasta, and start to cook the pasta. Add the broccoli and let it cook with the pasta for another 5 to 6 minutes or until the broccoli and pasta are lightly cooked. 
  2. Drain the pasta and broccoli. Set them aside.
  3. In the same pot (or another large pot), heat olive oil and add the garlic. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the pasta, broccoli, salt, pepper, and ¼ cup of parmesan cheese.
